There are no words that can capture the devastating news of the horrific shooting at a Texas Elementary school.
On Tuesday, just as our Board was about to vote on my proposal to proclaim June as National Gun Violence Awareness month, we received word of Texas shooting. 19 students and 2 adults killed.
We ache for the families impacted by this and any gun violence. We must do more to end gun violence.
For now, law enforcement is increasing police patrols on school campuses throughout Orange County until the end of the school year. ... See moreSee less

RECAP!🎶 We completed our 6-day concert OC LIVE Concert series to support live music. The grants were paid last year but due to Covid surges we delayed the concerts until this month! The weather cooperated and everyone enjoyed!
Over the last year, we supported local musicians, cities, school music, and arts programs, and arts venues with grants to help them through the pandemic. The nominal proceeds ($5 per person) from this series will create seed money to more music grants. I loved seeing so many residents enjoying LIVE music again! We look forward to more concerts this summer!
THANK YOU to our main hosts at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Dick Church's
THANK YOU to the MUSICIANS & ALL WHO ATTENDED.

Earlier today, I joined the call for the Anaheim Major, Harry Sidhu – who is the subject of an FBI corruption probe – to resign. I’ve asked for the County and the OCTA to audit any ongoing contracts with Angels Baseball and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. We just received word that Sidhu will resign.
