Good morning. 🌞

Today & tomorrow report a record HOT πŸ”₯ heat wave! Get your exercise in early while the temps are still low.

Turn off all unnecessary electrical appliances (except air conditioning) and avoid using if possible from 10am-2pm.

Other tips to avoid heat impacts:

If you don’t have air conditioning or can’t afford to run it, take a cool shower twice a day and go to a cooling center or other air-conditioned location. Even a shaded yard or park is better than staying inside.

Stay extra hydrated. During a heat wave, that means drinking two to four glasses of water every hour.

Please check on your elderly or disabled friends, family, and neighbors. Call our office at 714-834-3220 if you need help finding or transportation to a cooler location.
We are here to help you.

We did it OC! We made it through the pandemic, vaccinated nearly 2 million residents and they all get to take off the the mask!

We still need more residents vaccinated to keep the variants out.
